Ahhh.. time for new post! hmm, hmm today felt like a sledge hammer on my head.. so so shagging.. cant keep my eyes open.. >< mainly because i slept at 4 last night doing the structural grid and elevation.. and also maybe i dreamt too much again.. its like my dreams took all the time i slept.. so means i never sleep too.. wth... you know i dreamt everynight? close to.. sometimes its just awhile..and sometimes its so vivid like i am in another world.. doing God's know what. Sometimes its shows the future.. and sometimes a fragment of the past.. well, seems like i cant control it..

Anyway, had 2 lectures today.. 1 is about Quality thingy of being a architect.. and the second is hearing Mr Toe talking about his story again.. sigh.. 1/2 hour got to hear he speak about his stories and idea.. blah blah blah.. shawn was drawing bro 5 drawing, cher hao was trying "hard" to concentrate.. think deyang was stoning, and i was trying to stay awake.. zzz... anyway, thank god he's willing to let us go at 1630.. whew.. after that cher hao went to see him for his work.. sigh, seems like that Mr Toe screw him.. seriously.. i wont want to see him.. blah, i rather discuss with Miss Chew or Mr Neo, who are our better lecturers.. this guy always need to call his engr to ask about things.. why dont we just employ his engr to save us the trouble? sure sure, his ideas are rite, we should think on our design.. but whats wrong, is that NEVER TRY TO BURN ANYONE.. no one likes that.. what everyone's want, i find out, your respect. If you are a person who always like to implement your ideas(be it right or wrong) on others.. seriously you will find you have few frens.. the rule is always simple, take things easy.. and i dont like the way he tell cher hao like that..

sure, cher hao is kinda behind time.. but he got a talent. He will be fine in the end. Anyway.. after that went to get cher's cutting mat.. saw a year 1 or 2 student kana shot very badly.. think was his idea and how he express it.. and secondly, 2 lecturers started to get very hostile and taking it personal.

From my point of view:
1) Student express wrongly his idea, and maybe its sensitive.
2) 2 Lecturers took things too personal, lack of professionalism
3) Bad timing, at 5, everyone wanna go home.. lecturers criting there wont have good mood.
4) Student refuse to back down, or use *smoke screen*

Smoke screen: orginated from dan, widely used now.. hee, used in critcs to smoke the lecturers and avoid getting shot into pieces. ;)

He need to know whats smoke screen:
1)When in a hostile situation, like being shot by 3 lecturers who had a bad day.. keep your crit short and simple.. easy to understand.
2) Say what you need about your idea, when you feel you are under pressure, just smile and agree to whatever they say. This is a losing battle..the more you resist, the worst it gets.. sometimes to get out a ugly situation is just simply to relax and let a step.(fight another day)
3) Lastly.. always jot down what they say.. never take things personally, no matter what bullshit the lecturers may say.. You can swear and curse later.
